Ganglion is the benign soft tissue most frecuent in hand and wrist. It arise from the articular capsule and from tendon sheats. Its most frequent location is the dorsal aspect of the wrist but can come from any joint in the hand. Its diagnosis requires clinical evaluation and imagenologic studies. Routine histopatological studies are not actually recommended in its typical presentation. This article presents a case in which clinical, imagenological and intraoperative diagnosis was a distal radioulnar joint “ganglion”; due to its atypical location, the histopathological study was practiced and reported an apocrine cystadenoma.
