This generates in the child a psychosocial and cognitive impact in the development process. The birth of a child with this pathology is an unexpected event in the members of the family system, and in turn produces a trauma that compromises family dynamics. The Department of Psychology has the initiative to implement a program in which families have the possibility of being initially oriented to develop strategies aimed at reducing anxiety and depression and also prevent the replication of emotional behaviors. The objective of this research is to describe the systemic approach to psychosocial impact in a group of families from the city of Bogotá, treated at the Hospital de San José. At the same time identify the member or subsystem of the family which is most affected by the situation of the congenital craniofacial malformation, later to know the adjustments of the family system product of the member's MCCF and finally to identify the needs of the families and their families. Esto genera en el niño un impacto psicosocial y cognitivo en su proceso de desarrollo. El nacimiento de un hijo con esta patología es un evento inesperado en los miembros del sistema familiar, y produce a su vez un trauma que compromete la dinámica familiar. El departamento de Psicología tiene como iniciativa implementar un programa un programa donde las familias tengan la posibilidad de orientarse inicialmente a desarrollar estrategias dirigidas a reducir la ansiedad y depresión y asimismo prevenir la replicación de conductas emocionales. El objetivo de esta investigación es hacer una descripción desde el enfoque sistémico sobre el impacto psicosocial en un grupo de familias de la ciudad de Bogotá, atendidas en el Hospital de San José.
