Publicación Acceso abierto Procesos interventivos y rol de la psicología educativa: estudio de caso en un contexto de escuela pública en Bogotá(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2015) López Giraldo, SharaThis article presents the results of an academic project, that comes through a volunteering program with the Colombian Association of Psychologists. Starting from this scenario, a research project was developed from the FUCS faculty of psychology, with the objective to analyze the experience of a process of intervention in educational psychology at Usme, a district in Bogotá. Then the primary sources of research were discussed, and from that point managed to interpret the narratives, which configures the experience of this discipline branch through a qualitative look. This case study presents some discussion elements that frame the complexity of educational psychology, for a better understanding of phenomena in school contexts. The findings reveal a constructivist process, from the characteristics of interacting subsystems, without essentialize the profile and professional role.Publicación Acceso abierto Revisión teórica; familia y componentes de crianza(Bogotá, Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2015) Senegal Castro, Iván Camilo; Rivera Gutiérrez, Esteban David; Quintero Fonseca, Martha Liliana; Velásquez Yara, Julián Sebastián.This article aims to analyze the determinants of the process of raising infants, considering the attitudes, patterns and parenting styles, used by parents or guardians of minors, to identify appropriate parenting practices. A descriptive review was conducted addressing diverse backgrounds that reflect the theoretical development of the rearing process, from different conceptual referents. The review consists of 61 articles, finding references dating from 1966 to 2015, using the bases Redalyc, Scielo, BVS, Dialnet and Pubmed among other data. In conclusion Democratic model of Baumrind is the most effective because children educated under this model are more adaptive, functional and have prosocial behavior. It is recommended to expand research on this model considering biological factors, family environment and the socio-cultural context, to promote good parenting practices.Publicación Acceso abierto Abordaje psicológico de las investigaciones realizadas sobre las malformaciones congénitas craneofaciales(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2015) Veloza Murillo, Julie; Morales Rocha, Bibiana; Quintero, Javier Fernando; Ramírez Benavides, Johana PatriciaLas malformaciones congénitas son de gran importancia dentro del ámbito de la salud, especialmente desde la parte psicológica. En el presente artículo se ahondará sobre las malformaciones congénitas craneofaciales, las cuales se relacionan con las estructuras anatómicas del territorio de la cabeza, cara y cuello. Objetivo: Conocer los aspectos psicológicos relacionados con las malformaciones congénitas craneofaciales en los reportes de literatura científica. Metodología: Estudio cualitativo de investigación documental, se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos científicas, de acuerdo a los criterios de búsqueda, dentro de los cuales se incluyó artículos comprendidos entre el año 2005 al 2015. Se preseleccionaron 55 artículos, posteriormente se aplicó la metodología CASPE para los artículos de enfoque cualitativo (Critical Appraisal Skills Programe España) y STROBE (Strengthening the Reporting of Observational studies in Epidemiology) para aquellos de enfoque cuantitativo. Con el propósito de agrupar la información de los artículos seleccionados se realizó un proceso de tematización siguiendo la metodología de Hoyos (2000). Resultados: Se obtuvo la siguiente tematización: factores psicológicos, funcionamiento psicológico y ajuste psicosocial, calidad de vida e integración social, percepción y factores de estrés de los padre, adaptación psicológica e impacto emocional, habilidades sociales, familia y estrategias de afrontamiento, trastornos del estado de ánimo y factores de riesgo. Conclusiones: La literatura reporta diferentes impactos y aspectos psicológicos relacionados con la condición de las malformaciones congénitas craneofaciales, adicionalmente se recalca la importancia del trabajo multidisciplinario con el paciente y su familia.Publicación Acceso abierto Factores motivacionales hacia el trabajo en el departamento de enfermería en un hospital de cuarto nivel en la ciudad de Bogotá(Bogotá, Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2015-11) Fandiño, Johan Sebastián; Torres, Yury MarcelaLa motivación que los empleados tienen hacia el trabajo influye en cómo este va a ser desempeñado, dado que cada trabajador del Hospital tiene preferencias e intereses particulares. Por ello se aplica el Cuestionario de Motivación hacia el trabajo, con el objetivo de generar el perfil motivacional del personal de enfermería del hospital. El instrumento, que se aplicó a 398 sujetos pertenecientes al personal asistencial, permitió encontrar diferentes intereses motivacionales a partir de las variables definidas por el cuestionario. Las variables con mayor percepción de interés fueron: autorrealización, dedicación a la tarea y grupo de trabajo. Y las de menor interés fueron: logro, expectación y promoción. Domestic violence against men is barely visible and occasionally taked in consideration. This research is to outline some conceptual elements - domestic violence against men-, analyzing male violence with the story of a 46-year-old patient that assists to psychology consultation of the hospital Santa Clara, Bogota, referring to be a victim of domestic violence. We set afterthoughts, we discuss, and we show ideas especially from the psychoanalytic thought. Where it is highlighted that violence, it is always present, although directed toward men it is almost always ignored.Publicación Acceso abierto Repercusiones psicológicas en las víctimas del fenómeno de la trata de personas: revisión documental desde la psicología en Colombia(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2016) Ariza Rodríguez, María Camila; Chavarro Pérez, Karla Priscila; Pérez Madrid, Ana MercedesHuman trafficking is a phenomenon of high relevance today because it involves various vulnerable populations and can cause damages to the family level, medical, psychological and social (Avila Quiroga, 2008). To study this problem, a literature review that account how they are described, call or manifest the psychological repercussions as part of recognition of the problem of trafficking from an academic or a formal perspective is made. Such review falls within the period 2004 - 2014, from various approaches and disciplines, especially from psychology. In the field of psychology, informed consent has been a key to help the persons to get the right information and understanding that enable them to decide about their health or to agree to take part in research. To provide suitable information to patients, educational level, ability to understand and legal and sociocultural factors must be taken in account. Every person should be fully informed about the procedure which he/she is subject, explaining the benefits, risks, possible outcomes and alternatives. Some psychologist have reacted against the regulations of the informed consent made by COLPSIC in Colombia. Objective: Make a revision of the theory about informed consent to understand its development, characteristics and consequences of it in Psychology. Methods: A literature review in PubMed, Ebscoltost, Dialnet, Elsevier, Sciencie Direct, and Google Scholar databases; using the terms: Informed consent, psychology and patient autonomy. The selected articles had to be reviews or investigations in Latin America and more specifically in Colombia that is the focus country of this study. The articles had to be published in English or Spanish. Gray literature has been used and included in the bibliography section at the end of this text. Conclusion: The use of informed consent is regulated by ley 1090 of 2006. There has been a discussion about the use of a written document in psychology due to several difficulties profesionals ague not only in clinical attention but also in different psychology fields.Publicación Acceso abierto El rol del psicólogo en relación a voluntades anticipadas y derecho a morir dignamente (Estado del arte)(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2016) Garzón Lara, Alexandra Carolina; Gómez Pineda, Stephanie; Ruiz Pava, JessicaFor a few years they have generated a series of judgments and values about the use and scope of advance directives against the right to die with dignity, medical staff and the interdisciplinary team involved in terminal chronic patients continues to be debated to respect their ethical and moral versus topic or follow a series of new ethical rules intended to do any harm to this and respect the final will of the patient so from there the concept of the role of psychologists related against the decision of a dignified death, taking into account regulatory changes and case law in Colombia. Objective: To determine the role of the psychologist regarding Advance Directives and the right to die with dignity. Method: The research includes documentary review of the concept and scope of the role of psychologists against living wills and the right to die with dignity. Data collection and use of information sources was made by the hermeneutical method for the analysis and interpretation of texts. Conclusions: The dialectic of life confronts us with the reality of their own and others death and the eventual decision in that context, it is important the attitude that takes a person or family facing a situation chronic health terminal; while there is some dichotomy and confrontation with what is desired and what is permitted or endorsed by the regulations. It should be noted that life and death change their meaning from one culture to another and are influenced by the beliefs of what is lived and felt in every moment of existence. The role of the psychologist is part of two key processes neutrality in the accompanying decision to reactions of the disease condition, and the grieving process that would guide and approach the subjectivism of advance or the right to die with dignity. Understanding the roles of psychologists fall into biopsychosocial interventions, decision making reactions to the disease, and intervention in the grieving process, providing comprehensive care of each subject and its key sickness.Publicación Acceso abierto Aspectos psicosociales de la enfermedad adictiva a consecuencia de consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, curso de la enfermedad y tratamiento: una revisión de la literatura de los últimos 10 años(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2016) Díaz Martínez, Julie Julie JazladyThe present theoretical review was carried out with the objective of identifying psychosocial aspects related to the addictive disease caused by the consumption of hallucinogenic substances, the course of the disease and its respective treatment. The review was developed descriptively by exploring, selecting and collecting documents in different databases and the Meta search engine: google academic, in a time range between 2005 and 2015, during which an average of 300 articles were taken into account, of which 76 were included in the initial review, and then reduced to 62 for the analysis of the present document. The article introduces a proposal based in a concrete experience research and it describes the narrative of a 31 year old woman, who suffered from violence and how these events have made an impact in the construction of her identity. It discusses the concepts of violence, identity, memory and its methodological aspects. This document aims to identify the main biopsychosocial factors associated with hospitalization process, as reported in the literature from 2000 to 2015. Considering hermeneutic model, 118 academic articles about the individual biopsicosocial alterations regarding the condition of hospitalization were analyzed. Among the main findings of psychological disorders, physical and quality of life they were found and strong influence of evolutionary variables, the hospital setting and social - family support. As a conclusion, the identification and management of biopsychosocial issues have a positive impact in quality of life, health recovery, adherence to treatment and even reducing health care costs.Publicación Acceso abierto Intervención cognitivo conductual en sobre carga al cuidador familiar :una revisión teórica(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2016) Aponte Aparicio, Viviana AndreaThis review article, consolidates a documentary tracing over fifty academic and scientific sources for the delimitation of the family caregiver construct, and the physical, psychological and psychosocial impacts of caregiver burden. Identifying success factors such as motivation, self-efficacy, teamwork, information and communication technologies, factors that integrate with the development of investigative skills can transform the traditional approach and potentiate an alternative approach. The instrument was developed by using the International classification of functioning, disability and health (ICF), relevant handbooks of jobs and job interviews. The results confirm the validity of adaptation in social, conceptual and practical behaviour, the importance of workplace inclusion for the development of people with cognitive impairment and the need for improvement in the selection and monitoring processes.Publicación Acceso abierto Ideales de pareja: vivencias del tránsito de identidad de género(Bogotá, Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2016) MarÍn Rojas, María Alejandra; Vergaño Córdoba, Daniel; García Muñoz, Jisseth PaolaThe research approach about transgenderism has achieved the depathologization of this population, awarding importance to its condition of social subject, and has allowed to approach aspects that respond to particular needs of this population. This qualitative research proposed to interpret changes in the ideals of couple relationships from four transgender people who live a process a gender identity transition process; through a case study it interpreted the changes around components of commitment, intimacy, romance, communication, attraction and sexual adjustment. This is how it finds that couple ideals are subjective and in accordance with the gender transition process, being the dynamics that influence the construction of the ideal couple.Publicación Acceso abierto Intervención narrativa de juego a través de un diseño emocional: autorreferencia de una niña de once años quemada, usuaria de un Hospital Público en Bogotá (HPB)(Bogotá, Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2016) Moreno Velásquez, Laura; Ostos Garzón, LauraThe purpose of this research is to characterize the self-reference and narrative of an eleven years old girl, named in this research as Alice, user of a Public Hospital in Bogota, with second and third degree burns in 50% of her body, by means of the narrative intervention with the Game “Mundos Invisibles.” In this document, result of a qualitative exercise of analysis of narratives, it can be found a theoretical track regarding psychosocial problems secondary to burns, a construction of language as mediator between thought and emotion, self-reference, the narrative intervention and the Game from the Emotional Design. During more than eight hours of Game intervention, analyzed here, a conversational scenario was provided in the Game to mobilize the identification and co-construction of alternative narratives from an adverse situation or a traumatic event. The results show emergencies in Alice’s language that allowed to recognize in the potential interventional strategy, as a complement of processes of psychological and hospital intervention, for assessment and intervention of emotional processes secondary to burns and those typical of integral and multidisciplinary rehabilitation processes. Objectives: To describe the effects of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in the care of patients who have been victims of spousal abuse. Methodology: A comprehensive review was developed about the effects of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in the care of patients abused in the couple. A total of 13 articles were found and were subject to methodological quality review. Results: Three categories of analysis were identified: method of intervention, psychotherapeutic main objectives and psychotherapeutic achievements in patient care. Discussion: Although achievements are evident in patients victims of abuse treated with psychoanalytic psychotherapy, more research is needed in this area to support the efficacy of this treatment.
