Publicación Acceso abierto Formulación de un protocolo de valoración cognitiva y funcional para el análisis del funcionamiento ocupacional de personas en condición de discapacidad intelectual vinculados a un programa de inclusión laboral de Bogotá D.C.(Bogotá, Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2017) Triviño Luengas, Martha LucíaThe biopsychosocial model, is the paradigm under which the importance of promoting spaces for people with a diverse functioning is postulated, taking into account that social inclusion enables the full integration of this people; this is why it is necessary to design strategies that enhance the participation of Persons with an Intellectual Disability, in educational and work environments, with the aim of increasing the recognition of the skills, abilities and competences of this people, not without ignoring the benefits in terms of quality of life and emotional well-being for this population. Therefore, the aim of the investigation was to design a cognitive and functional assessment protocol for the people with an intellectual disability who are in a labor inclusion process, through a foundation for social inclusion of Bogotá D.C. To do this, a documentary review was made based on the categories of analysis: biopsychosocial model, social inclusion, labor inclusion, intellectual disability, cognitive assessment, functional assessment, adaptive behavior and cognitive functioning. Once the bibliographic material was selected, the selection and subsequent formulation of the neuropsychological and functional evaluation protocol was made, consisting of a semi-structured interview, seven neuropsychological tests and a scale of support intensity; these instruments will allow to recognize the cognitive and functional profile to establish a relation with the occupational fields defined in the International Standard Classification of Occupations Adapted for Colombia of the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE). It is concluded that the proposed tool will contribute to the advancement and improvement of the labor inclusion processes that are developed a foundation for social inclusion, while at the same time the situation of this group of people and the economic, social and political panorama of a country will be improved.
