Likewise a framework for the qualification of humanistic social training is being provided, which is being offered to the University Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud (FUCS) students. Una mirada desde lo crítico -social(Bogotá: Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud, 2017-12-06) Mateus Salinas, Nora Amparo; Rojas Rondón, Ana María; Orjuela Tirano, Andrés Camilo; Salazar Tafur, Ángela VivianaThis article addresses conceptions and dimensions of the Institutional Assessment in Higher Education, the method used to develop it is documentary, descriptive and interpretative. We reviewed 14 papers with a written document, including the transcription of audio, which account for the oral interaction. The category of institutional evaluation from which the subcategories emerged was based: conceptualization, quality, research and teacher training. The material was cleaned in an Excel matrix and the content analysis technique was used, where a strong tension was found in the current institutional evaluation, characterized by the prescriptive, technical-instrumental and quantitative aspects. On the other hand, there is a humanistic critical current that promotes a qualitative, social, participative and democratic evaluation. As a methodology to work, qualitative research was used. Finally, a discussion based on trends, debates, perspectives, conclusions of the notion and the processes of institutional evaluation is presented.Publicación Acceso abierto Tendencias, tensiones y retos de la docencia universitaria a nivel internacional, regional y nacional. For this purpose, questions were asked to address the object of study of this research. At first, an approximation will be made to the way it is conceived in the literature reviewed: the university teaching, the competences, the contents and the necessary matters for the professional performance of the same. Secondly, trends, tensions and challenges present in the exercise of university teaching are identified. Then in the third section, the pedagogical models and the most relevant methodologies for university teaching in the documentary review are described. Subsequently recommendations and suggestions for the curriculum of the Specialization in University Teaching of the FUCS are presented and finally, the conclusions of the study are presented and the bibliographical references are used for its development.
